Bertha V. Godinez is originally from El Paso, Texas, but was born in Mexico before moving at the age of 8. She went on to study at El Paso Community College and earned her associate’s degree in Applied Science in Early Childhood Education. However, Bertha has always had a passion for helping others. She soon realized she could put that passion to use in the mortgage industry, and the rest is history!
Bertha comes to The Federal Savings Bank with 18 years of realtor experience, along with 6 years of loan processing experience. She has earned various awards throughout her time in the industry, such as Austin PT50 Top 500 Agents and the 2022 Ruby award. Bertha enjoys servicing her clients, especially those in the Hispanic community. With her strong connection to the community and her heritage, she is able to better serve those community members when they come to her for her assistance. Bertha is fluent in Spanish and is very knowledgeable when it comes to ITIN borrowers, as well.
Bertha still currently resides in Texas with her husband of 30 years, with whom she has 4 children with (not to mention 2 granddaughters!). She enjoys relaxing and spending time with her family whenever she can.
