Thomas Matteo entered the mortgage industry in 1998. He has worked as both a mortgage broker and banker. As an experienced producer, he has closed countless mortgage loans and has the knowledge to successfully bring his clients along from start to finish in the loan process.
Thomas is a former first responder who served for almost twenty-two years and was active during the September 11th attacks. He has an extensive knowledge base of the civil service programs that aid responders in attaining low-cost mortgages. Coupling his passion for helping those in civil service and his long-time background in the banking industry, Thomas provides a seamless loan process and active communication to his clients. It is his mission to identify his clients long and short-term goals as they relate to one of the most substantial purchases of their lives.
Currently, he divides his time between upstate New York and New York City. In his spare time, Thomas spends time with his children and is a regular volunteer with the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation. The foundation helps young children and teens adjust to life following diagnosis or treatment of a medical condition.
