Susan Jones came to the Central Texas area via the US Army when she was first stationed at Fort Hood in 1977. After an assignment in Germany, she returned to Fort Hood and the 1st Cavalry Division in 1983.  In 1986, she exited the Army and obtained her Real Estate License and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Central Texas in 1990. In 1991 she joined her husband on a two-year assignment to Turkey where she worked as an Education Counselor and obtained a Master of Public Administration degree from Troy State University in 1993.

Susan brings over 30 years of industry knowledge and experience to us here at The Federal Savings Bank. She has learned that Home is where the military sends you and works diligently to help customers obtain a home at their next duty station or upon leaving the service. Her sage advice helps borrowers make short- and long-term decisions about home ownership and choose the right loan product for them.  Susan also understands the urgency to get a family resettled at the next duty assignment or relocation and strives to make the loan process the most efficient and stress-free process they have ever experienced. She is an expert in all loan types and brings a wealth of business knowledge and experience to the table.

Susan currently resides in Belton, Texas with her husband. Their two grown sons live and work in the Austin area, as well as a foster daughter who just started Texas A&M Central Texas. She enjoys taking time to serve her local community whenever she can. Currently she serves on the Killeen ISD school board as Vice President and has also served on the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce, the Longhorn Council of Boy Scouts of America, the Greater Fort Hood Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Scholarship Committee, as well as the Better Business Board, just to name a few! Susan also enjoys cooking and gardening in her free time, along with simply spending time with her family and friends.
