Matthew DeCesaro was born in Northwest Chicago, where his close-knit Italian immigrant family taught him the importance of community and hard work. His grandfather, a true inspiration in my life, did not have any formal schooling, but was a voracious reader and taught himself how to build two successful businesses.  He had an amazing talent for building deep personal relationships and was always determined to succeed no matter what.  His ability to connect with people and the example he set for Matt is invaluable.  Matt’s grandfather sparked his passion for helping others, guiding him to carry those values forward in both his personal life and my career.

Professionally, Matt has been passionate about new home construction since 2003. He started his journey as a Mortgage Loan Originator with a focus on new builds and later stepped up as a Branch Manager, where he had the privilege of coaching some of the Southeast’s top-performing teams. Matt has consistently ranked among the Top 1% of mortgage professionals in the U.S.—a testament to his commitment to helping clients achieve their dreams of homeownership.

From Chicago, Matt moved to St. Louis and eventually settled in Connecticut, where he graduated from Joel Barlow High School. Matt then attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, where he earned his degree in 1995. In 1999, a job transfer brought Matt to Atlanta, where he met his wonderful wife, Stacy. She and Matt now live in Alpharetta, GA, with their two amazing sons, Patrick and Carter. When Matt is not working, you can find him cooking up a storm in the kitchen, fishing, or spending quality time with his family.

Matt prides himself on bringing his personal and professional values to every client interaction, ensuring that you feel supported and informed throughout your home building, buying, or refinancing process. Matt truly thanks you for considering him to help you with your next home adventure—he looks forward to earning your trust!
