Ian Schrader

Ian Schrader is an Assistant Mortgage Banker with The Federal Savings Bank. Originally from South Bend, Indiana, Ian earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business from Indiana University, where he graduated with distinction and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society recognizing outstanding academic achievement in business. He also received academic achievement awards in both Advertising and Marketing, reflecting his dedication to excellence and professional growth.

Although new to the mortgage industry, Ian brings more than 15 years of sales experience, 10 years of executive-level management experience, and a strong financial background to his role. Prior to joining The Federal Savings Bank, he served as Vice President of Operations for a national armored courier company and spent five years as a Financial Planner with Northwestern Mutual. Ian is known for his client-focused approach, creative problem-solving, and unwavering commitment to integrity. He believes every client’s situation is unique and is dedicated to exploring all available options to help them achieve their financial goals with confidence.

Ian resides in Elkhart, Indiana, with his wife of 19 years. Together they enjoy spending time with family, especially their daughter and grandson, who continues to inspire Ian to lead by example both personally and professionally. Outside of work, Ian has played the saxophone for nearly 40 years, is an instrument-rated private pilot, a four-time Indiana State Champion pool player, and an avid bass fisherman. Whether learning something new, connecting with people, or helping clients navigate important financial decisions, Ian approaches every opportunity with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.
