Dave Rafter labels himself a “military brat” as he moved around a lot as a kid, resulting in him growing up in various locations such as San Angelo, Texas, Guam, Okinawa and Fort Meade, Maryland. He went on to study at the New York Institute of Technology where he earned his English degree while also obtaining a minor in History. Being from a military family, helping people has always been instilled in Dave from the jump. He truly loves that he gets to help others on a daily basis for a career.
Dave comes to The Federal Savings Bank with over 20 years of industry experience. Throughout those years, Dave has seen this industry from all types of angles, including origination, sales management, marketing and even product and price management. Dave uses this experience and his industry knowledge to find the best possible financial solution for his clients. Dave also prides himself on treating everybody with respect and fairness, as he believes that is key in conducting business. Anybody who works with Dave will soon see that very few people in this industry know as much and work as hard as he does!
Dave currently resides in Towson, Maryland, with his wife, daughter and their family dog, Tiger. In his free time, you can find David taking Tiger on walks, or spending time with his family. He also enjoys travelling, coaching youth sports, and cheering on his local Maryland sports teams!
