Chris Downey is originally from Milton, Massachusetts. He attended Providence College where he went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Chris has always had a passion for helping others, and once he found out he could do so in the financial field, the rest was history!

Chris comes to us here at The Federal Savings Bank with over 30 years of industry experience; he knows this business like the back of his hand! He has taken the time to learn and gain experience in multiple facets of this business, including compliance, industry changes, pricing, and marketing. Chris has utilized this experience to consistently find success in his role. He is now on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Reverse Mortgage Lenders as well as the Education Committee, and even teaches a HECM for Purchase class. Chris understands the ups and downs that can come during this process, which is why he does everything he can to ensure a smooth and stress-free process for his clients. He treats every person he works with like family and does whatever he can to help everyone succeed.

Chris currently resides in Norwell, MA with his wife. He has one daughter, and both she and his wife happen to be talented musicians! All three of them are very close knit and enjoy going skiing and sailing whenever the opportunity arises. Chris’s family include a dog and a cat, as well. Chris is also a proud participant of the Pan Mass Bime challenge, which helps raise money for cancer research.
