Amber Mills

Amber brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to her work as a mortgage banker. Originally from Northern Virginia in the Washington DC metropolitan area, Amber has experienced life in a variety of communities – from the fast-paced environment of the DMV, to the coastal atmosphere while attending Old Dominion University, and later the close-knit community of Valdosta, Georgia while earning her graduate degree. These experiences have given her a broad perspective and a deep appreciation for the different paths people take when building a home and a future.

Amber earned her Master of Science in Sociology from Valdosta State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and Literatures from Old Dominion University. Her academic background emphasizes research, communication, and understanding how people navigate important life decisions. Prior to entering the mortgage industry, Amber built several years of professional experience in consultative sales and client relationship management. Through this work, she developed a strong ability to listen, communicate clearly and guide clients through complex processes with confidence – skills that translate naturally into helping borrowers navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.

Outside of work, Amber enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and prioritizing both physical and mental wellness. She values personal growth, new experiences, and making the most of every opportunity for adventure. Whether exploring new places or enjoying times with loved ones, she believes a balanced and positive lifestyle helps her bring the same energy and focus to the clients she serves.
