Thomas Schweighardt graduated from Depaul University in 1975 with a degree in Business Administration. After completing his undergraduate degree, Tom pursued a second degree and graduated from The Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University in 1981 with a degree in Commercial Banking. Originally from New Jersey, Tom moved to Illinois in 1971. Since 1975 Tom has served in a variety of mortgage banker and Sales Manager roles, constantly building on the idea of “superior customer service”.
With almost 40 years of experience in real estate and mortgage lending, Tom has the knowledge and experience to help clients optimize their mortgage in order to accomplish life goals. While the business has evolved, the fundamentals have not changed – always putting the customer first and listening to their goals, desires, and dreams is the best way to build a strong and lasting relationship. Tom is committed to structuring a mortgage plan that helps clients accomplish short and long term goals.
Tom and his wife Cathy have lived in Wheaton for 40 years. He has 4 sons who are now married and raising their own families. His 4 grandchildren keep him active. Tom has been a volunteer football coach at both the High School and youth league levels and enjoys working with young student athletes. When not coaching, Tom spends his free time with his wife, grandchildren and friends.
