Mark Bechtold graduated from the University of Kansas (1991) with a degree in history and political science. After obtaining his degree Mark began his extensive career in mortgage lending and financial services. While living in Chicago, he spent several years as a loan officer and manager at a local Chicago bank with a focus on construction lending. Mark and his family would later move to Libertyville, Illinois, where he continued to build his career as a talented and reliable Mortgage Banker.

With over 30 years of real estate and mortgage lending experience, Mark has the knowledge and expertise to help each borrower structure the optimal mortgage to achieve their financial goals. Mark resides in Libertyville, IL with his wife of 25 years and his three children. His family is active in their church and community. Mark is a board member of the Special Education District of Lake County) SEDOL an founded and sponsored an annual Ping Pong Tournament since 2018 which has raised over $100,000 to send special needs children to camp. Mark enjoys outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, and biking and practices Jiu Jitsu with his family.
