Dena Rodriguez grew up in a small, rural community in the heart of Oklahoma. She went to a small two-year college on a vocal music scholarship and then began her career in banking starting in customer service. After many years, working her way up the retail banking industry, and moving to the San Antonio, TX area, Dena went back to school and graduated from The University of the Incarnate Word with a business degree specializing in finance. Her love of helping people with their personal finances gave her the motivation to switch to lending. She assisted her clients in commercial, residential, and personal loans for 10 years before transitioning to become a mortgage banker specializing in construction loans.
With almost 35 years in the financial industry and 10 of those years in lending, Dena has the knowledge and expertise to assist borrowers finding the perfect mortgage solution. She prides herself on her customer service skills and tenacity in making sure her clients get what they dream of in their new home. She goes the extra mile for her clients. Whether it be walking a borrower through each step of the application process, taking late night, weekend, and holiday phone calls, or delivering documents in person for signatures, Dena provides concierge service.
Dena currently lives in Canyon Lake, TX with her husband, mother whom she takes care of, and energetic dog. Outside of work, Dena is very active with CASA of Central Texas where she is the Treasurer on the board of directors. She also enjoys being outdoors enjoying the lake, fishing with her husband, gardening, reading a good book, and wine night with the girls.
