Mark Johnson was born in Valparaiso, IN and grew up in the Illinois suburbs about 30 miles south of Chicago. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in finance from Illinois Wesleyan University while playing football for four years. After obtaining his degree, he began his extensive career in lending and financial services.

With over 30 years of real estate and mortgage lending experience, Mark has extensive knowledge structuring complex transactions and figuring out complicated situations. He prides himself in taking the time to understand different situations and scenarios to provide specific solutions for customers to achieve their long and short-term goals. After helping thousands of clients, he truly realizes how complicated the home buying process can be and simplifies it for each client in an organized and efficient manner.  Because of his extensive knowledge in customized options, market conditions, and construction, Mark provides excellent problem-solving skills and guidance to his clients as they pursue one of the most personal investments of their lifetime. He considers his clients friends, because they can rely on him to just talk about situations without the expectation of requiring the customer to apply.

Mark and his wife, Rochelle, enjoy two active and busy sons, Reed and Austin.  When away from work, he enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, playing catch with the boys, and watching them play lacrosse, basketball, and doing anything outdoors.
