Doug is a graduate of DePauw University with a BA in Communication and was a captain of the wrestling team. Doug began his professional life in the high-tech manufacturing industry in the roles of HR Director, VP, and ultimately as COO. When that company was acquired, Doug sought out a new career in the financial services industry. In addition to being a Registered Representative, he became a Principal in an insurance National Marketing Organization. Doug’s focus for the last 20 years has been helping other financial professionals to be educated about and integrate under-utilized financials tools at their disposal which can significantly positively impact their client’s financial position.
Doug Glowe is a HECM Advisor and a member of the Advisory Channel at the Federal Savings Bank. Doug is part of an accomplished team of professionals with expertise in the banking, insurance, and financial planning disciplines. As an integrated business to business unit of the Federal Savings Bank, the team’s business is developing fiduciary specific tools and programs that increases our partners’ revenue. Their primary clients are national and regional insurance agencies, and their agents.
Doug lives in Northeastern Ohio with his wife, Susan, and is thankful to have his grown sons live close by. He is an avid fly fisherman, a triathlete with numerous Ironman 70.3 finishes, a home coffee roaster, and has his own brand of exotic hot pepper sauce.
