Elsa Labiosa

Elsa “Elsie” Labiosa is a Mortgage Banker with The Federal Savings Bank and a bilingual mortgage professional with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Elsie began her professional career as a Title I Bilingual Educator after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Inter American University. Her passion for helping others ultimately led her to the banking and mortgage industry, where she discovered a calling for guiding families through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Elsie is dedicated to providing personalized service and ensuring clients feel informed and confident throughout the mortgage process.

Throughout her distinguished career, Elsie has developed extensive expertise in FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional mortgage financing. She began her banking career with a Massachusetts-based savings bank, advancing from Teller to Branch Manager before founding and serving as President of Equal Housing Mortgage Corp. from 1996 through 2009. Over the years, she has helped thousands of homebuyers and homeowners secure financing solutions tailored to their unique needs. Known as “Elsie, The Mortgage Lady,” she has built a reputation for exceptional customer service, mortgage expertise, and a commitment to helping Hispanic, Latino, and diverse communities navigate the path to homeownership. In addition, she serves as a Notary Public in both Massachusetts and Florida, allowing her to further support clients throughout their homeownership journey.

Outside of mortgage lending, Elsie is passionate about community involvement, financial literacy, and empowering families through education and homeownership opportunities. She serves as a Board Member for a nonprofit organization and enjoys building relationships within her community and throughout the real estate industry. Happily married and the proud mother of an adult son who is a top-producing Realtor in Massachusetts, Elsie enjoys meeting people from different cultures, volunteering, networking with industry professionals, and exploring new restaurants. She takes pride in going the extra mile with a smile and remains committed to helping her clients turn their homeownership dreams into reality.
