With more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Josh Denlow has built his career on one guiding principle—treat every client like family. A proud Evanston native and University of Kansas graduate, Josh brings a unique blend of financial expertise, psychology-driven communication, and community-based service to his role as a Mortgage Banker at The Federal Savings Bank. His ability to simplify the lending process, offer strategic guidance, and consistently deliver exceptional results has earned him a loyal client base built almost entirely through referrals.

As the leader of The Denlow Team, Josh has originated and managed over a billion dollars in residential loan volume throughout his career, specializing in purchases, refinances, and niche lending scenarios across the country. He and his team—featuring his wife and partner, Jess Denlow, and longtime teammate Chris Hellinga—are known for their deep product knowledge, clear communication, and always-available service. Whether helping first-time buyers secure their dream home, structuring complex jumbo loans, or guiding families through generational real estate transitions, Josh brings a personal, strategic touch that reflects his decades of experience and his deep ties to the community he serves.

Outside of work, Josh is just as dedicated to family and teamwork. Josh & Jess have 3 children, Niko (27), Jadyn (23) & Dylan (20) and are currently getting adjusted to life as a part-time empty nester. He’s an active Evanston resident, long-time youth sports coach, and lifelong Chicago sports fan who channels the same competitive spirit and integrity that drive his mortgage career. From the basketball court to the softball field, and from community events to the closing table, Josh believes success comes from preparation, communication, and trust—the same qualities that have defined his mortgage journey from day one.
