Prior to joining the Federal Savings Bank, Van Tran graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Finance. During his collegiate years, Van was always actively involved in banking, where he built numerous relationships with individuals at large financial companies. The experience Van gained at these firms has been invaluable to his success at the Federal Savings Bank today. “The financial crisis of 2008 has shown what happens when corporate greed takes priority over ethics, and I am determined to serve my clients with their best interests in mind, as opposed to some benefit of monetary value”. Countless client referrals and repeat business are proof of Van’s philosophy that client satisfaction is the most important business practice.
In his first year as a mortgage banker, he funded over $25,000,000 in home loans and quickly became one of the top 1% originators in the nation. Furthermore, he expects to quadruple that as the California real estate market picks up steam in the near future. Van prides himself on thinking outside the box, and having an ‘anything it takes’ mentality to close and fund a loan within 30 days. “Realtors want a loan officer that can be as automatic as possible, so that they can focus on doing what they do best, which is show properties, obtain listings, and get the best deal for their clients.”
