Larry Barfoot is a life-long resident of Hampton Roads, Virginia. Since 2001, he has proudly worked as the preferred mortgage banker of many of the area’s greatest real estate professionals. Over the years, he has become known for delivering superior service and expertise to thousands of families for their mortgage needs.

Larry and his wife Crystal work together as a team at The Federal Savings Bank to ensure a superior customer experience. When they’re not working, they enjoy time with their daughter, Abby, and dog, Tucker. The family enjoys a waterfront lifestyle, where they reside in Seaford, Virginia.

Mr. Larry Barfoot was on top of every transaction during this whole process. It was complicated because we were trying to refinance a house in Utah while buying a home in Virginia. Because of the VA loan process for the home in Virginia, the house in Utah had to be refinanced first which caused a time constraint in order for both houses to close almost simultaneously. To also add to the scenario, this timeframe was one of the hottest in the real estate market because of the lowest mortgage rates in recent history which caused a multitude of mortgages being processed at the same time ours were going through the system. Mr. Barfoot and his team were professional and knowledgeable as we communicated almost continuously. His knowledge of contracts as well as mortgages and refinancing allowed us to quickly react to a lien we had no knowledge of on the Utah refi, pay that off, and still meet the deadlines necessary to close without a penalty.
