Duane Alford

Duane Alford received his AA degree from the local Community College. He then went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Management, where he focused on Organizational Leadership. He has spent more the last 20 years helping borrowers and clients alike feel informed, confident, and supported throughout the mortgage process. His background includes extensive experience in sales, customer service, and consumer‑direct lending, where he developed a reputation for clear communication, steady guidance, and a people‑first approach. Having worked in several fast‑paced environments that require strong listening skills and consistent follow‑through, he brings that same calm, consistent,  conversational style to his role at The Federal Savings Bank.

Over the years, Duane has helped clients navigate a wide range of mortgage needs. He has guided borrowers through straightforward rate‑and‑term refinances designed to lower monthly payments, as well as more complex cash‑out strategies that help families access the equity they’ve built. He also has significant experience assisting Veterans as they explore and use their VA home loan benefits — work he considers both meaningful and deeply rewarding. These experiences allow him to simplify the process, explain options clearly, and ensure every borrower feels supported from the first conversation to the final step.

Outside of work, Duane enjoys spending time with his wife and kids at the beach, playing with the family dog, and getting out on the road for long rides on his three‑wheeled motorcycle. He values connection, family, and authenticity — qualities he brings into every interaction with the clients he serves.
