Cory Scott is a dedicated mortgage professional with a strong background in business development, sales, and the mortgage industry. Originally from Knotts Island, North Carolina, Cory attended East Carolina University, where he was a collegiate baseball player and earned First-Team All-American honors. He later played professional baseball for two years in the Northern League, experiences that helped shape the discipline, teamwork, and leadership he brings to his professional career today.
Throughout his career, Cory has built his approach around developing strong relationships and serving others. His experience working with clients and business partners across the country allows him to bring a relationship-driven mindset to mortgage lending. Whether helping a client pursue homeownership or working alongside business partners, Cory believes in clear communication, hard work, and providing a dependable experience built on trust.
Outside of work, Cory remains deeply connected to baseball and his community. He spent more than a decade coaching youth baseball and enjoys helping young athletes develop both on and off the field. Family, faith, baseball, and community remain important parts of his life, and Cory strives to bring the same commitment to service, relationships, and making a positive impact to every client he works with.
