Steve Lefkowitz earned a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University. Prior to joining the mortgage industry, Steve was a veteran award-winning producer in the television news industry, working for the NBC News Group. Since joining the industry over 18 years ago, Steve has worked at some of the top lending institutions in the country where he grew and ran entire divisions while being recognized as a top producer in the area. He has also been recognized as an industry expert in such publications as the New York Times, Newsday, and Long Island Business News.
Steve is now a Senior Vice President with The Federal Savings Bank, a federally chartered nationwide mortgage lender. Whether it be purchasing or refinancing, Steve prides himself on striving to make the mortgage process as smooth as possible. Steve understands each and every situation is different and demands individual attention, which is why he always takes the necessary time needed to listen to each of his clients. He finds that the most important thing is to listen to a client’s wants and needs and provide the most information available to address those wants and needs in order to find the right loan program.
Steve has been involved in several new construction projects throughout Queens and Long Island. He resides with his wife and twin daughters in Roslyn, NY. He enjoys skiing, running, and spending time with his family.
