Michael MacDonald is the Chief Information Officer at The Federal Savings Bank. He develops information technology (IT) solutions that align with the strategic priorities of the bank.
Michael’s experience spans over 30 years in IT project management, governance and application development and infrastructure, and he previously worked in various IT roles at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico and Banco Popular North America and in IT consulting at Accenture. Michael attended the University of Notre Dame where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Master of Business Administration.
A careful decision-maker, Michael excels at identifying departmental priorities. He appreciates the deep skills and insights his team provides and believes that listening, following up and eliminating roadblocks are critical skills an IT leader must have to empower a talented group of professionals.
Michael lives in the Chicagoland area with his wife and three kids. Outside of work, you can find him running, playing tennis or woodworking.
