Chief Technology Officer
Michael joined The Federal Savings Bank in 2012 heading east coast operations in Manhattan, New York. He now lends his 20 years of industry experience to the bank as the Chief Technology Innovation Officer. In this role, Michael is positioning the organization for growth by developing and integrating best-in-class systems for all aspects of banking and mortgage origination.
Michael is a Chicago native who grew up in the surrounding suburbs. He holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Chicago where he focused on quantitative analyses and learned the peculiar joy of peering behind the veil of human behavior using data science.
Michael greatly values curiosity and collaboration; he engenders his team to use both while creating solutions in order to provide the best possible experience for the bank’s customers. Open and inquisitive minds are what leads to the grandest innovation and this process is never done alone. Building diverse teams with a foundation of trust is the core of Michael’s leadership strategy and what has led to his success at the bank.
Michael is an avid traveler who spends as much time as possible traversing around the globe eating as many things has humanly possible. While at home, Michael dedicates time to painting, writing, and bicycling around his vibrant city.
