Daniel Semenak is The Federal Savings Bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Daniel oversees the daily operations of every department and ensures the company is running smoothly.
With over 25 years in the financial industry, Daniel has extensive experience and knowledge. His professional career includes 14 years at Corus Bankshares, Inc., where he was First Vice President. Later, he worked at Affirmative Insurance as Vice President and DuPage National Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Daniel also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.
An active member of his community, Daniel previously served on the Board of Directors for both the Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club and the Wells Park Parents Association.
As a leader, Daniel believes that no single individual is more important than the team. He promotes being cognizant about how individual actions affect the team as a whole and that encouraging and believing in each other helps the team succeed.
While he still enjoys visiting his birthplace in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Daniel loves living on the northside of Chicago. Outside of his career, he enjoys spending time with his wife and is a volunteer coach on his son’s youth basketball and baseball teams.
