After attending the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, Steve entered a management training program with a national rent a car company and worked for 17 years in various sales and management positions. After living out of the country and moving back to Chicago, he made the decision to enter the mortgage business. Starting his own mortgage company in 1987 which was sold 12 years later. Steve than worked in retail and wholesale management positions before entering the reverse mortgage field as a specialist in origination. Five years later he became a Vice President of a Reverse Mortgage Division for a bank and grew the division to a top 30 lender in the industry.
For personal reason Steve came back to his love of helping seniors and has been originating home equity reverse loans for the past few years. His values and passion for helping seniors continues with the Federal Savings Bank. Steve has closed hundreds of reverse mortgages over the years, and is committed to quality customer service. His expertise and passion makes him a leader in the industry.
Steve and his wife of 51 years live in Schaumburg and have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. He is a passionate golfer and is on the membership committee of his golf club. Active in community associations and his church, Steve loves to discuss the powerful benefits of the HECM program.
