Rhonda Yarbrough earned her associate’s degree in applied health science from Texas A&M in Corpus Christi – Del Mar. She started her career in mortgage origination in 2004 and has built an extensive and successful career as a loan officer. She has earned numerous awards and plaques over the years for her production but has gotten rid of most of them because she believes that what she does to help people is all that really matters.
Currently with over 20 years invested into the mortgage industry, Rhonda has accumulated a reputable career in which she is known for her dependability, consistency, and knowledge. She was initially trained by someone she still calls her mortgage guru and worked in an office with both processors and underwriters who taught her how to understand the guidelines to put together a solid file from the start. Rhonda is resourceful and skilled in problem-solving so that she can help her clients realize their dream of homeownership. Treating others the way she would want to be treated and doing what is right for each client is the principle by which she operates.
Having grown up in Rockport, Texas and currently residing in the southwest corner of Colorado near Durango in Bayfield, Rhonda has a love for both the beach and the mountains. She is a proud wife of a Marine Corps Veteran, and they share 5 horses and 2 dogs. She loves being the fun Aunt to her many nieces and nephews and enjoys all things related to horses and the outdoors.
