Jim has spent the past 15 years going forward in reverse, educating senior homeowners on the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage, the FHA-backed reverse mortgage. He then acts as a concierge, helping them through the process of accessing the equity in their house, putting it to use to help them experience the rich and rewarding retirement they envision. Having helped hundreds of borrowers, he has vast experience both with the FHA-backed reverse mortgage and private reverse mortgages. He promises folks he’ll tell them, not sell them, and vows to work at a pace with which they’re comfortable. A box full of thank you messages attests to his caring, communicative style.

Prior to that, Jim worked with seniors with retirement planning after a long career in corporate marketing, mostly for banks and savings and loans. He has taught classes for the Institute of Financial Education.

He served in the U.S. Air Force, is a Dean’s List graduate of the University of Florida, a proud father and emerging pickle ball player. Golf is his primary avocation, having played in 35 states and the Old Course, St. Andrews, Scotland.
