Erica Vega was born in Chicago and grew up on the north side in Albany Park. She is a First-Generation American and was the first one in her family to earn a college degree. She attended the Institute of Art Design & Technology where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications and design. Erica’s parents were immigrants from Mexico and came here with the dream of becoming U.S. citizens and to obtain homeownership. After working hard to earn their citizenship, they then purchased their first home. Erica’s parents’ path to homeownership was inspirational to her and motivated her to work hard to be able to make her first home purchase at 24 years old.

Erica has been in the banking and mortgage industry for 20 years now. She started off as a teller in college but ended up on the Marketing side of the industry upon graduating college. This is where Erica fell in love with the mortgage industry, and the rest was history. She went on to hold positions in customer service, marketing, processing, closings, and as a loan officer assistant. Erica’s goal was to become a well-rounded Loan Officer who can provide a unique and exceptional experience with the loan process from A to Z for all customers. Homeownership is one of the biggest investments you will make in life, and Erica truly wants to be the one to walk you through this exciting process. She will go above and beyond for all her customers and will be easily available every step of the way whenever you need her.

Erica currently still resides in Chicago with her husband—her high school sweetheart—and 3 kids. All her kids are very active in sports and in the arts. Erica and her husband are very involved in their kids’ lives. In her spare time, you can find Erica doing a number of things that range from traveling, to working out, to reading, to some DIY project she has going on. She also loves spending time with her friends and family, as well as cheering on her Chicago Bears!
