Tom Formica transferred to Colorado State University during his sophomore year and was a two-year starter on the CSU football team. After college, he played in the NFL for two years for the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Colts. After suffering injuries with both teams, Tom gave up his football career, and spent the next several years in various adventure jobs such as working on a king-crab boat in Alaska to construction. His first real career was in restaurant management where he excelled for three years. In 1986, Tom was exposed to the investment and financial world and he started studying monetary policy and history, energy and the Middle East. Tom started a new career in financial services and spent the next several years doing investment planning. Throughout his career, he has advised thousands of investors through one-on-one meetings and public speaking engagements throughout Northern Colorado. In 2000, Tom was offered a position in commercial lending for a local community bank in Colorado. Five years later, he was named Vice President of Commercial Loans for another bank and served in that capacity until 2009. Tom continues his work in the financial services industry as a trusted and reliable banker.

Tom joins The Federal Savings Bank as a Vice President. He utilizes his broad financial experiences to advise people on residential, construction and commercial loans. Tom relies on his product knowledge and his strong attention to detail to help find the best loan product to meet his clients immediate and long term financial goals. Because of his extensive knowledge of available programs, problem solving skills and commitment to excellence, Tom ensures his clients receive superior guidance and a seamless loan process for their specific financing needs.

Outside of work, Tom is a husband and father, and enjoys the Colorado outdoors, playing his guitar, and gardening.
