Skip Granger

Mortgage Banker

Skip Granger graduated in 1995 from the State University of New York at Oswego, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After obtaining his degree, he became a Series 7 Registered Representative where he worked with high net worth clients building and managing Equity and Bond portfolios. Within a few years, he became a Series 55 Equity Trader and honed his skills technically trading various market sectors, both foreign and domestic.

In 2001, he transitioned to pursue a career in the Mortgage finance industry. The satisfaction he receives helping people achieve the American dream of home ownership, is what has driven him over the last 15 years.

Having seen the financial landscape dramatically change over the last 5-7 years, he understands the importance to educate, facilitate, and appreciate his clients during the Mortgage process. Similar to a ship at sea, he believes it’s vital for a Captain to not only give realistic and clear expectations, but to be that beacon with unmatched foresight to navigate the twists and turns that so often occur in today’s Real Estate transactions. He credits his outstanding mortgage Application/Closing Ratio on his financial and consumer leadership. He specializes in Conforming/Jumbo loan products for Single/Multi-family, Condo/Coops and New Builder Spec Construction.

He has resided in Manhattan, N.Y. for the past 15 years, creating proprietary business relationships that can only be formed by working in the financial capital world. Giving back is extremely important to him, where he donates to and attends many charity events, especially functions honoring our great American heroes - Military, Police, and Firemen.

He enjoys spending summers in Southampton, Long Island where he is very active in the Luxury home real estate market. Practicing yoga, golfing, fishing and honing his barbeque skills are among his favorite activities to recharge from a very demanding industry.
