Shamara Jackson graduated from Norfolk State University with a Bachelors’ degree in Business Management and Masters in Contract Management from Webster University. After graduation, she moved to Washington, DC to start her career in finance. Shamara has worked in the finance industry for 10 years where she sent a large part of her career consulting small businesses. Her passion for giving back coupled with her entrepreneurial spirit led her to start a nonprofit organization supporting military veterans and spouses. Shamara’s ability to analyze a situation and create solutions allowed her to build trust amongst those seeking her services. Her finance background and passion to help others succeed led her down a new career path to become a Mortgage Banker.

Shamara joins The Federal Savings Bank as a member of our Spousal Patriot Division. As a military spouse, she understands that each of her clients have unique needs and works hard to provide them with the best service to meet their needs. With her knowledge of offered programs, attention to detail, problem solving skills and commitment to customer service, Shamara ensures her clients receive superior guidance as they seek to purchase their new home. Her dedication and love for people helps her create long lasting client relationships.

When away from work, Shamara enjoys volunteering at her sons’ school and for various organizations. She loves vacationing with her family, having picnics and exploring new places with her husband. Shamara’s creative spirit always leads her to her favorite place, the kitchen, to prepare delicious meals for her family.
