Scott Swallow attended Shippensburg University where he studied criminal justice. Scott enlisted in the United States Air Force and achieved the Rank of Staff Sergeant. During his enlistment he was part of the emergency response force that was involved in the rescue of Army General, James Lee Dozier in Vicenza, Italy. He became fluent in Italian and continued in Italy having earned his linguistics diploma from the Berkley/Cal language program. In 1986 Scott was awarded the USAF Non-Commissioned Officer of the year before his military retirement in 1987. While serving, Scott was able to play American Football in the Federation of Italian American Football League, (FIAF) and continued after completing his two tours of duty. Having played over one hundred twenty games and two Italian Superbowl’s, 1985/86, Scott retired and returned to the United States in 1988 to start his career in mortgage banking.

Scott is extremely fortunate throughout his career to have been employed by some of best mortgage banks in the business. Scott’s team specializes in government backed loans, which consisted of approximately 80% of their book of business.

Scott resides in Orefield, Pennsylvania, and enjoys cooking, boating on the Chesapeake Bay and tennis. He is involved with the First Tee program as well as UNICO International.
