Vice President

Sara Cruz graduated from Marian University with a degree in Marketing and Human Resources. She also earned her MBA there, in Management and Leadership. During her earlier days, she worked for many companies as a Human Resources professional, until she found her love for lending while working with a local bank.

Sara has over 22 years of experience in sales and marketing; through hiring, developing, and directing highly productive teams. Her background also includes business operations, customer service, and customer relationship management development. Her passion for building partnerships with clients through collaboration and hands-on customer service is very important to her. Her greatest accomplishment is starting successful new offices and teaching new loan officers about the mortgage process. As a spouse of a Hispanic, Sara loves working with the culture and helping make the American Dream become a reality within the communities she serves. Her personal journey and financial expertise have allowed her to grow and excel in the mortgage business. She realizes that every client is different and has different skill levels when it comes to buying a house or even using a computer to facilitate the loan process. She is driven to close each deal and thrives on making the home buying experience a positive one for her clients.

Sara currently resides in Franklin, Wisconsin, with her husband of 16 years and their 3 children. She is very active with Smile Train, an organization that is very close to her heart. Sara owns a pair of charitable clothing stores in Mexico. She gathers clothes throughout the year and brings them back to her warehouse where she sells them for pennies or gives them away to those in need. Sara named these stores Sebastian’s Wings.. Sara hopes to give the people in need the opportunity to fly and be successful. The emblem that The Federal Savings Bank holds is a reminder of doing good in the service of others and giving those the opportunity to prosper.
