Robert McCormack

Mortgage Banker

Rob McCormack graduated from the US Naval Academy, and served 8 years in the Marine Corps. Rob also has a master’s in engineering and a Kellogg MBA from Northwestern University. Rob worked in roles of increasing responsibility in manufacturing as a plant engineer, plant manager, operations improvement manager, and an engineering director where he administered the capital investment strategy of a 1-billion-dollar business unit.

After working 17 years in manufacturing Rob made a career change to the mortgage industry. As an industry outsider, he was attracted to The Federal Savings Bank by a number of intangible attributes, similar to those found in abundance in our armed services: Leadership, Integrity, and Duty. Above all else Rob was most inspired by the bank’s mission to help people in a truly meaningful way – helping people achieve the dream of homeownership. These reasons make Rob a trusted and well-received advocate for his clients throughout the entire loan process.

Rob is a longtime resident of Riverside, a Chicago suburb, where he and his wife of 13 years are raising their two daughters. When away from work, Rob enjoys visiting with extended family and tinkering in his basement shop.
