Bob obtained a BA in American History from Brown University in Providence Rhode Island. After 18 years in residential construction management, he started his mortgage career in the DC Metro area. He has been a top producer with several companies during his mortgage career.
Bob brings over 40 years of homebuilding and mortgage finance experience to the The Federal Savings Bank. His attention to detail and cordial manner of communication has allowed him to develop long-lasting relationships with mortgage clients, realtors and builders. He is a valuable resource for new home buyers and those who want to build their own homes. Bob is patient and informative in guiding them through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
Bob is a native Virginian who was born in Newport News. His family moved to Arlington Virginia when he was a young man and he has been a Northern Virginia resident since then. During college he was a member of the football team for four years. He loves to sing karaoke and read fiction and history. Bob has played golf on a regular basis for the past twelve years, but his new passion is hiking. This summer he has started on a 5-year plan to hike all of the Appalachian Trail in Virginia. That will require about 100 miles per year since there are over 500 miles of trail in the state (the most in any state). Bob looks forward to enjoying these trips with family members.
