Richard Kay has a diverse career history in the financial service industry. After studying business at the University of Nebraska and the University of Maryland, he served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Upon being honorably discharged, he began working in various sectors of business. Richard wanted to find more ways to continue to serve and found his answer in the mortgage lending industry.

Having worked for 10 years as Vice President and National Manager of a conduit lender, Richard became involved in specialized financing for senior citizens using the reverse mortgage program. For the last few years, he has continued to serve the senior community as a consultant to several lending and banking institutions. Richard has the knowledge and expertise to help each of his clients structure their reverse mortgage to fit their financial goals. He understands that each customer’s retirement and monetary needs are different and works hard to identify their needs. He ensures that every one of his customers fully understands the reverse mortgage process when they work with him and guides them every step of the way. Richard takes great pride in strong customer service, and his goal is nothing less than 100% customer satisfaction.

Richard's dedication and devotion to help others is noted in many aspects of his personal and business life. He is an ordained minister and has served his church for the past 40 years. He is on the Board of Directors and is the Treasurer of two non-profit ministries in the USA and India. Richard is the international host of a ministry radio broadcast and the author of several books. He and his wife, Ellie, have been members of New Life Church in Virginia since 1991. They live in Chesapeake, Virginia where they enjoy going to the beach and the ability to give back to the community.
