Nicholas George

Assistant Mortgage Banker

Nicholas George graduated from the University at Albany with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Business. Originally from New York City, Nicholas after graduating spent several years as a Residential Counselor for a non-for-profit organization in Albany, NY, where he helped mentor, promote social skills and ensure the safety of the residents within the organization. Thereafter, Nicholas was looking to branch out into a new field to gain additional experience. During the beginning of the pandemic, Nicholas worked as an Inside Sales Representative for a Fortune 500 company, where he was able to use his social skills and convert it into sales. Due to the current economic recession, he did not believe that the current area of sales was the best match for him.

Nicholas began to explore a more suitable opportunity due to the current economic downturn. This steered him into a role within the mortgage industry as an Assistant Mortgage Banker with The Federal Savings Bank. As an Assistant Mortgage Banker Nicholas has been able to utilize his social skills, newfound sales skills, and his love for the business to help educate others on how to place them in a healthier financial position. His time at The Federal Savings Bank has allowed him to gain a complete understanding of the role that your home plays in a person’s life. It is not just a home but a financial tool that can be used to help others achieve their goals of financial stability.

Outside of work, Nicholas loves to travel, play sports, participate in outdoor activities, and learning.
