Monté comes to the Southwest via the Southeast. A native of North Carolina, Monté and her partner, Kevin, moved to the area in March of 2019 to explore beautiful Colorado and the National Parks. Monté brings with her seven years of banking and mortgage experience in addition to three years as a legal case manager. In 2001, she left the mortgage industry to obtain her BA in Music, graduating Summa cum Laude.

After spending the past few years in semi-retirement, Monté has returned to the mortgage business and is excited to once again be helping others fulfill their dreams of homeownership! While a banker, she received regional sales awards and recognition for providing excellent customer service. In college, Monté was given the Music Major of the Year award for outstanding performance and academic achievement. She believes you can do anything if you believe in yourself, work hard and work smart. She brings those principles to her position as Mortgage Banker with TFSB and is committed to providing the best customer experience possible.

Monté is a runner and likes the occasional half marathon, her two most memorable being the Glacier and Rocky Mountain halves. She and her partner are also avid cyclists, hikers, and beer enthusiasts. It isn’t unusual on any given weekend to combine all of these activities into one big adventure. On one such weekend in Leadville, Monté and Kevin rode bikes up the 2,000-foot climb of Turquoise Lake on Thursday, hiked Mt. Elbert (the second highest peak in the contiguous United States) on Friday, ran a 5K on Saturday, and rewarded themselves with a refreshing craft brew at the end of the course. Monté and Kevin also enjoy taking their 4WD ‘Venture Van on “roads less traveled”.
