Lewis Sogge graduated from the University of Maryland with a double major in Communications and Agricultural Resource Economics. While he was a senior in college, he also worked as a licensed Realtor.  After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in 2013, Lewis started his career in the mortgage industry as a loan officer in Fulton, MD, specializing in VA loans. He continued his mortgage banking career in California when he moved to San Diego in 2018, expanding his focus to include other products such FHA, Conventional, and home equity loans.  Throughout his career, Lewis has been repeatedly recognized as a Chairman’s Club top producer, the highest recognition given to loan officers. As a member of this exclusive club, Lewis placed in the top 5% of all loan officers nationwide in loan funding. He takes pride in using his expertise and knowledge to help clients structure the optimal mortgage to achieve their financial goals.

Lewis’ extensive knowledge of available programs, problem-solving skills, and steadfast commitment to customer service ensure that his clients receive superior guidance as they pursue one of the most personal investments of their lifetime. Lewis’ vast experience in both the mortgage and real estate industries has allowed him to develop a unique and comprehensive understanding of the mortgage process, whether it be purchasing a new home, refinancing an existing mortgage, or accessing the home’s equity. He takes the time to understand his customers’ immediate and long-term goals, finding the best financial solution to achieve their objectives.

When Lewis isn’t helping clients, he enjoys spending time with his beloved dog, Cooper, and his newlywed wife, Allison. He is an avid outdoorsman who loves fishing, hiking, and exploring nature. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures, which he believes helps him relate better to people from diverse backgrounds. Lewis is committed to serving his community, and he volunteers regularly with local organizations to give back to those in need.
