John Wallace graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in business management and did advanced studies in real estate and mortgage lending. He has been continuously licensed in real estate, for over forty years, and holds a senior real estate specialist (SRES), and a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), among many other designations.

John Wallace has been introducing clients to reverse mortgage programs for over sixteen years. He became a strong advocate for the use of the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage because the program makes such a positive difference in people’s lives. He feels strongly that reverse mortgages are an important financial tool, that should be evaluated by every homeowner, or homebuyer. He is passionate about the financial planning benefits of this program, and how valuable the HECM program can be during one’s retirement years.

John, and his lovely wife Bonnie, reside in Orem, Utah. They have twelve children, seventeen grandchildren, and a lot of patience. John, and his family are active in their church and their community. For many years, he has been a Meals on Wheels volunteer, coach, and Boy Scouts of America leader. He has been the Course Director for the local Walk to End Alzheimer’s, for more years than he can remember. He is also very passionate about his family history. Combining his love for the outdoors and commitment to good health, John can be found skiing, running or biking several times a week.
