Joe Kimball attended Biola University in La Mirada, California where he pursued studies in Organizational Leadership and Biblical Studies. After entering the mortgage business, he received a certificate in Real Estate Finance from the University of California, Irvine. His professional career has been centered on improving the lives of those he meets. You can count on honest and caring communication, follow through, and delivering what is promised.

With over thirty years of mortgage industry experience, he established himself as an industry expert excelling at sharing the value of home ownership and home equity retirement planning. Education, and working with highly qualified financial professionals and realtors, has been a hallmark of his career. He has helped hundreds of people understand the value of responsibly using home equity in retirement planning. Joe has a passion for his work because he has seen how home equity management allows his clients the dignity, quality of life, and financial security they desire.

Joe’s years of experience and interactions with financial planners and realtors have led him to develop a multi-faceted approach to HECM financing. Most people think of the HECM to supplement social security, but most are not aware of the power of the HECM in retirement planning. He educates clients in seeing how the HECM can have tremendous benefits in portfolio management, moving in retirement, healthcare and long-term care spending. The flexibility of HECM has allowed him to provide loans for retirees, ranging from those with simple needs to those with multi-million-dollar portfolios.

Joe lives in Southern California with Carol, his precious wife of forty years. They have three married children and seven amazing grandchildren. Joe and Carol are active in their church and community. They enjoy fun times with family and friends and a variety of sailing, kayaking, swimming and exploring remote tropical locations.
