Jim Stoltz

Mortgage Banker

Jim Stoltz was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is a Concordia University of Wisconsin graduate, majoring in Secondary Education, History and Broad Field Social Sciences.

Jim has been in the industry for about 24 years now and spent 5 years managing a net branch. He has a deep understanding of due diligence upfront in order to make closings a more relaxed experience for his clients. With an originator as knowledgeable as Jim, clients can expect him to always be thinking outside of the box. He will not commit to an answer if he does not know the answer, and he ensures to work diligently at finding the correct information. Jim values family and friends and treats my borrowers as he would treat his family and friends. He operates with a borrower-first mentality. He believes in educating and coaching borrowers with the facts not trying to “sell them” but guide them to a product that best suits their needs and goals. For his clients to be comfortable with their decision, he ensures to listen to what the borrower wants, present options based on the borrower’s input, and help the borrowers select the loan that best suit their needs.

Jim currently resides in Palmyra, Virginia, just outside of Charlottesville, Virginia with his wife and their three kids, a dog, and a cat. Jim loves sports and spending time outside. Football gave him an opportunity after college to be a player/coach in Crotone, Italy for two years when he was 22-23 years old. Jim learned the language (he is a bit rusty now, as it has been 30 years) and formed many relationships that have become very good friends and extended family. Another thing that he brought back from Italy is a love of cooking - Jim enjoys cooking a variety of things. He also coaches high school football and has been blessed with being able to know his kid's friends on a deeper level through coaching. Jim and his family live very close to the Blue Ridge Mountains and they love being able to hike and explore.
