James (Jim) Foley was born in Washington, DC. He grew up in Potomac, Maryland and attended Our Lady of Mercy Grade School, St. John’s Military High School, and the University of Maryland. In 1985, Jim joined his father, Jack Foley, in the mortgage industry, working at Fairway Mortgage. Jim held executive leadership positions at companies such as George Mason Mortgage and Caliber Home Loans before joining us at The Federal Savings Bank. Jim has proven leadership skills, the ability to problem-solve, using a common-sense approach with highly effective communication skills while achieving maximum results.
With over 37 years of industry experience, Jim is excited to bring his knowledge, experience and leadership to The Federal Savings Bank and is excited to grow the East Division. During his career, Jim has been instrumental in creating and executing market penetration strategies designed to take Loan Officers to the next level and significant growth. Highly motivated, Jim says, “The competition has never scared me; rather feeds my existence” and may be the reason behind his continued success, market presence and ability to attract and recruit Top Producers.
Jim resides in Bonita Springs, Florida with his wife Jennifer, and has a second home on the Chesapeake Bay in North Beach, Maryland. They have four children in total: Jack, 22, who graduates from University of Pittsburg in December. Ashley, 21, will graduate next Spring from High Point University, NC. Jennifer’s two children, Gabby, 20, is a junior and attends Towson University, Baltimore, MD, and her son Zac, 18, is a freshman at Arizona State University. In his free time, Jim can be found cooking, golfing, and boating. He also enjoys listening to country music and indulging in a quality steak.
