Jerry Norlander is a native of Minnesota and brings 30 years of experience in retail and mortgage lending to The Federal Savings Bank. He started his banking career with a national bank in 1986. In this position, Jerry was instrumental in opening one of the first in-store retail banks. He considers the former CEO of that bank his mentor in the banking world, and the reason for his personal successes in the banking industry. Most of Jerry’s banking experience is in the mortgage banking environment. Throughout his career, he has held several managerial mortgage banking positions around the country, and was responsible for growth in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Minnesota and now in Arizona.

Jerry serves as a Vice President and is responsible for mortgage origination growth as well as recruitment for the Scottsdale, Arizona office. He utilizes his years of experience, knowledge, and expertise to find the best bankers to join the bank’s growing teams. Jerry focuses on recruiting bankers that can help improve and maintain a high level of services for all customers that seek home financing with The Federal Savings Bank.

Outside of his extensive work history, Jerry coached hockey for 15 years including both his son and daughter’s teams. He was also very active in his local Minnesota communities serving on the chamber board in Cloquet, MN and as board member and treasurer for the neighborhood housing services of Duluth, MN. Most recently, Jerry was a participant of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Leadership program.

Jerry now resides in Fountain Hills, Arizona with his wife, Kim. They both enjoy golfing, boating and spending time with their labs, Cooper and Barney.
