Jake Styve grew up in the Chicago suburb of Downers Grove, IL. He graduated from college, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Human Movement. His father, who was born in the Netherlands and came to the U.S at the age of 2, served in the U.S Navy. Although Jake did not serve himself, he has a deep appreciation for being able to work with veterans almost every day.

While being fairly new to the mortgage industry, Jake brings years of experience in leadership and management to The Federal Savings Bank. Prior to becoming an originator, Jake served as the Personal training Team Development Manager at Lifetime Fitness. He constantly ranked top in sales at his previous company and was voted Most Valuable Team Member for his dedication to team development, and for giving clients the best results and a great positive experience. Jake takes pride in his customer-first mentality. He believes it’s important to not only educate his clients through what can be a confusing process but also making sure to find the best program to help achieve their goals. One of Jake’s main life values is to help people. His experience as a personal trainer and personal training manager has allowed him to help people in the aspect of health and fitness and treat clients like family. Now he gets the chance to help people save money and put them in a position to be in a lot better position financially.

Jake currently resides in Naperville, IL with his girlfriend and their two dachshunds (wiener dogs) who create a lot of fun around the house. If Jake is not working, there is a great chance you will catch him lifting weights, hiking, or spending time with friends and family. He is also a huge Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks fan. His girlfriend and him currently in the process of visiting every MLB ballpark when the Cubs play there.
