John Fernandez graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Finance. After graduating he spent several years in the Philadelphia area working in the investment management industry, focusing on an institutional account base. In 1991 he was recruited by a major Wall Street firm in New York to lead the company’s international securities trading desk. During his twenty-nine year career on Wall Street, John served as managing director at several major brokerage houses and banks. In this position he serviced many of the firm’s top clients.

Relying on his extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, John started his own financial advisory practice in 2015, catering to both individuals and businesses. With over thirty years of financial experience, he has the knowledge and expertise to help each borrower structure the optimal financing to achieve their financing goals. John is creative, knowledgeable and experienced and is excited that The Federal Savings Bank provides so many competitive and diverse programs to meet his clients’ needs.

John, his wife Alice and their dog Holly reside in Livermore, Colorado on their ranch where they specialize in raising Scottish Highland cattle. They have a love of the outdoors, horses, the arts, and living the Colorado lifestyle. John loves the flexibility of being able to work with clients from all over Colorado and the United States, while maintaining relationships with his many business clients in New York City and the surrounding area.
