Ian Miscoe is a 2011 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in American Law and Jurisprudence. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army’s Adjutant General Corps, the Army’s human resources and personnel branch. Ian graduated from the Adjutant General Basic Officer Leaders Course, and reported to Fort Carson, Colorado where he was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment as the organization’s Chief Human Resources Officer. Over the next three years, he expertly led his small team to serve the personnel needs of more than 900 soldiers, which included one nine-month tour to the Middle East in 2013. Ian continued to pursue education opportunities presented to him, and he graduated from the Adjutant General Captain’s Career (Advanced) Course as the Honor Graduate in March 2015. Additionally, during this time he was the 34th recipient of the U.S. Army’s Colonel Frank C. Foster, Jr. Award for Writing Excellence. Ian finished his military career as the Chief Human Resources Officer for the 2-10 Assault Helicopter Battalion stationed at Fort Drum, New York.
After leaving his military career, Ian wanted to continue to pursue a career that allowed him to still help and serve others. He has found a way to continue to serve as a mortgage banker who is dedicated to helping borrowers and their family settle into the home of their dreams. Ian values the opportunity to assist others in achieving both financial and personal success through home ownership. When working with him, borrowers will quickly realize that he will work tirelessly to ensure they fully understand the home-buying process from start to finish as well as experience top notch customer service.
Ian lives in the Washington D.C. area. As a huge sports fan, he can be found on the golf course or the ski slopes, season dependent, when he is not working.
