Eddie Winkenhofer has more than 45 years dedicated to helping seniors and their families. He started working in the insurance and financial services industry when he was just 22 years old. After many years of helping clients in the insurance industry, Eddie saw the opportunity to help seniors by utilizing the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) product. Eddie transitioned his business 18 years ago, and now focuses solely on the HECM solution to help seniors manage their assets as part of their overall financial plan.

Eddie believes in ensuring every client understands the program, and he is personally involved in working with and informing interested seniors, their children or heirs, and their trusted advisor team on all aspects of the HECM. Eddie ensures each client and their trusted advisor team understands the pros and cons of HECM loans. He is committed to helping those who are financially struggling as well as helping those who want to protect their financial investments. Eddie loves what he does, and knowing that he is helping clients optimize home equity as part of an overall financial plan to grow or protect their assets.

Eddie was raised in Bowling Green, KY and his wife Darlene is from Glasgow, KY. After living in Bowling Green, KY for a number of years, they decided to move to Nashville 10 years ago. They are blessed with two sons and a daughter. Eddie lives near the famous Bluebird Café in Nashville, where he is often recognized as the “dog man” by the local regulars and Bluebird staff because he walks his 7-year-old Golden Retriever and 12-year-old Sheltie over to visit with folks waiting to get in for the two nightly shows. Both Eddie and his wife are active in their church and community.
