Dirk Schalch


Dirk Schalch served in the United States Air Force for 20 years before retiring in 2005 as a Lieutenant Colonel. During the time he served, Dirk was a Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Systems officer. Throughout this military and civilian career, he has 22 years of information technology experience ranging from operational command to program management in support of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff, and US Special Operations Command. Dirk obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Eastern Kentucky University, and his master’s degree in Computer Systems from the Air Force Institute of Technology while in the Air Force. After retiring, he teamed up with his spouse, Jessica, to own and operate a small business franchise for 4 years on the University of Central Florida campus employing college students. Afterwards, Dirk served as a licensed financial advisor in a registered investment advisor where he served over 200 military and federal employee clients developing financial plans providing them a tailored roadmap for achieving financial success. In line with a lifetime of service to others, Dirk has segued his career into mortgage lending.

Dirk enjoys being given the opportunity to help clients achieve home ownership to meet their financial goals and objectives. He understands that each of his clients are different, and relies on this knowledge to help find the best loan product to meet their goals. Dirk provides the highest level of customer service to his clients as they go through the mortgage process, because of this he has a strong word of mouth referrals from his past clients. Because of his extensive knowledge of financial planning, problem solving skills and commitment to serve others, Dirk ensures his clients receive superior guidance as they pursue one of the most personal investments of their lifetime.

Outside of work, Dirk enjoys being involved with events to assist military veterans and their families. He loves staying engaged with his children whether helping his son through the challenges of high school or his daughter with gymnastics practice and faith formation activities.
