Testimonials
The VA Home Loan Workshop offered a comprehensive overview of the process to become a homeowner and the many financial tools that are available. Mr. Piatek provided information about the VA Home Loan and how it compares to other options in a way that empowered the veterans in attendance to choose the option that was the best for themselves and their families.
Mr. Piatek provided information about the types of properties that veterans are able to purchase with assistance from the VA Home Loan and described differences in how the application and process can vary and the factors veterans should keep in mind when selecting a home.
The workshop allowed the participants to gain a better understanding of the closing cost associated with a VA Home Loan and how applying for the loan in different geographic locations may impact the amount that is available to them. When asked for advice on which financial institutions veterans might consider working with when applying for a VA Home Loan. Mr. Piatek encouraged veterans to question an individual lender as to how many VA loans he or she has personally completed. Adding that, audience members should always complete their own research before selecting a lender.
Throughout the presentation, Mr. Piatek took time to answer everyone's questions with clarity and respect. Whether on details on how the VA Home Loan can be used or explaining the principal on a loan, each participant was given the opportunity to ask the questions they needed to fully understand how the process works.
Overall, I would highly recommend both the VA Home Loan workshop and Mr. Piatek as a facilitator. The presentation met our veterans where they were and empowered them to take the next steps in their journey towards homeownership.
