Dan Heim graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2002 and served as a Field Artillery Officer with the 82nd Airborne Division in Operation Iraqi Freedom as well as during Hurricane Katrina relief operations in New Orleans.  His last duty assignment was recruiting for the Army ROTC program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  After the Army, Dan settled into the Manufacturing industry working on process improvement and project management, earning his Six Sigma Black Belt and later a Master of Business Administration from Niagara University, with 2 kids in diapers at the time.

After transitioning to the financial services sector, he worked in both leadership and individual contributor roles that helped people maintain their hard-earned paycheck.  He understands how complex the home buying process can be and works tirelessly to walk each client through the process with an orderly and efficient approach.  Dan will ensure you receive superior guidance as you pursue one of the most significant investments of your lifetime.

Dan currently resides in Wheatfield, NY, a Buffalo suburb, with his wife since 2009 and 2 sons.  They both play travel hockey, so you’ll find him at the rink, where he now enjoys being a fan, after 2 ½ years of coaching them on their respective teams – they’ve become much better players since Dan has retired from coaching!  When not at the rink, Dan is active in his local West Point Association of Graduates society.  In his spare time, he enjoys reading, cooking, exercising, watching the Buffalo Bills, Sabres and Bandits, and spending time with friends and family.
